LIMITED WARRANTY ON SWIFTSHAPE PRODUCT

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY APPLIES TO YOU AS THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF THE “PRODUCT” (AS DEFINED BELOW) AND GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. 

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY CAN ALSO BE FOUND IN THE DOCUMENTATION WE PROVIDE WITH THE PRODUCT.

WE WARRANT THAT DURING THE WARRANTY PERIODS SET FORTH BELOW, THE PRODUCTS WILL BE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP, PROVIDED THAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY WHEN THE PRODUCT IS SUBJECT TO “IMPROPER USE” AS DEFINED BELOW. 

TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, ORAL, WRITTEN, STATUTORY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES CONTAINED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY STATEMENT AND TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW DISCLAIMERS OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THIS DISCLAIMER MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. TO THE EXTENT SUCH WARRANTIES CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED UNDER THE LAWS OF YOUR JURISDICTION, WE LIMIT THE DURATION AND REMEDIES OF SUCH WARRANTIES TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY. 

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTIVE GOODS IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS DESCRIBED BELOW IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT. 

WHO MAY USE THIS WARRANTY?

SwiftShape LLC, located at 147 Walnut St., Northvale, NJ 07647 (“we“), extend this limited warranty only to the original purchaser of the Product (“you“). It does not extend to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the Product.

WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY COVER?

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of the “Product”, meaning the professional-grade laser cutter, CNC router, and 3D printer and certain related components “Product Components”, for the Warranty Periods, as defined below. The Warranty Period may vary depending on the Product Component for which a warranty claim is made, as described below. 

WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY NOT COVER?

This limited warranty does not cover any damage due to: (a) transportation; (b) storage; (c) Improper Use; (d) normal wear and tear; (e) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control; (f) improper handling, lack of care, accidents, or incorrect usage; (g) incorrect setup or modifications made without prior written authorization; (h) damage due to environmental factors or third-party products; or (i) software and data-related issues.

Improper Use” means conduct or lack thereof that invalidates this warranty, including (x) failure to follow the Product instructions or routine maintenance guidelines provided in the Product’s user manual; (y) prohibited modifications; and (y) unauthorized repair. Improper Use includes but is not limited to the following conduct:  

  1. Tampering with or bypassing safety interlocks.
  2. Using unapproved third-party components.
  3. Altering the firmware in a way that may compromise safety.
  4. Disabling ventilation or fire mitigation features. 
  5. Mechanical modifications to the structural integrity of the machine.
  6. Installing unauthorized accessories or tools that alter intended use.

Further, this limited warranty does not apply to reflective mirrors or focal lenses, unless such Product Component is eligible for an exchange as provided for below under “Eligible Exchanges”.

WHAT IS THE PERIOD OF COVERAGE?

The duration of this limited warranty, starting on the date of your purchase (the “Warranty Period“) is: 

  1. One (1) year if your claim relates to any of the following Product Components: 
  • Mainboard, Touch Screen, LED Lighting, Laser tube, laser power supply, interchangeable working heads.
  1. Three (3) years if your claim relates to any of the following Product Components:  
  • Motion System: Motors, linear rails, lead screws, X and Y timing belts.
  • Electronics: Sensors, switches, Camera, Wi-Fi module.
  • Power Systems: Power switch, emergency stop, fuse breaker, low-voltage power supply.
  • Hardware: Door hinges, door shocks, exhaust fan, cooling fan, reflective mirror mounts.

The Warranty Period is not extended if we repair or replace the Product or Product Component. We may change the availability of this limited warranty at our discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive.

Extended Coverage After Year One: After the first year, the warranty includes the cost of replacement parts and shipping for eligible claims. We will provide guidance and support to help you replace parts and resolve issues independently. However, should in-lab service be required, you are responsible for shipping fees to and from our facility.

WHAT ARE YOUR REMEDIES UNDER THIS WARRANTY?

Free Exchanges and Repairs in Certain Circumstances: In the two scenarios listed below, we will, in our sole discretion, either repair or replace a damaged Product or Product Component free of charge and pay for applicable shipping and handling fees. Please be aware that we reserve the right to refuse your request for a repair or exchange if any of the preconditions listed below are not met. THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED BELOW ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND OUR ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

1) Eligible Exchanges: For damage to or a defect in the Product or a Product Component that (i) is not otherwise excluded from this limited warranty, (ii) occurred before or during delivery of the Product to you, and (iii) was discovered after opening or using the Product within 10 days of delivery of the Product (the “Inspection Period”), you may request an exchange during the Inspection Period by following the instructions provided in How Do You Obtain Warranty Service section below. 

2) Eligible Repairs: For damage to the Product or a Product Component that (i) is not otherwise excluded from this limited warranty and (ii) occurred during the applicable warranty period but after the Inspection Period, you may request a repair of your Product or Product Component by contacting us through the method provided for in the section below.

For eligible claims, our team will provide necessary parts and guidance. Should in-lab servicing be required, customers must use the original packaging to prevent shipping damage.
